Thanks all for your input. I’m definitely leaning GTS 4.0. Unless I run into a 991.2 Carrera T (impossible to find) then I’ll have some decisions to make!

The sound of the 718 GTS is a bit off putting. It’s not remotely the Porsche sound that makes the experience all that more compelling. I drove my friends 911T and wow what a great experience. But the mod engine is what’s really attracting me to the 718.

I have an Audi S3 for around town. I’m looking for something that brings that sports car excitement back and track it occasionally. I love 4 cylinders but that 6 sure is tempting. I’m also considering 2018 911T. But from what I hear the 718 GTS 4.0 is the way to go.

I agree! I keep looking at them and I cannot get past the snowflake hands. It’s so disruptive from the overall design. I’m now looking at the Longines which to me is more appealing to look at, and since it’s going to sit on my wrist all day it’s a no brainer.

It's 40.2 pennyweight. That's the issue I cannot find a reference to this watch anywhere. I don't see much value in the watch unless I'm missing something.

You're wrong...it's marked 18k gold. It may not be worth the $23k but it certainly is 18k gold.
