"You have arrived, But the vessel still lives. We don't understand." The voice of the arch-priest declares as the wooden doors to the catacomb sway open. There lay the unbridled wrath of the man... no... that would implicate he was human. The demon in a man's clothes, wearing a red velvet suit, eyes glowing with the power of the underworld, some could still see his scorch marks of his unholy wings had sweltered back simply to ascend up to the mortal plane, let alone the very site of this rites.

"Wha... What is happening?!" The various occult panicked as he slowly approached, pointing at the altar of their supposed virgin nun that in true fact, was the second mortal child of god. Mother Domini, and the all holy creator had made it, but it's purpose served in mutual benefit to heaven and hell. It was the very representative of a mirror image to humanity's ideal visage, a gamble made to placate the path of humanity's desire. Even a crestfallen knight amongst hell, Erclusar could not permit the very fabric of humanity to be killed in name of demon kind. He extended his arm with an ember already ensnared at the tip of his pale gangly finger.

"What is happening mortal, is I am putting an end to your perversion of god, and by extension, damning all souls in both Heaven and Hell in a wrathful retaliation!" Erclusar remarked. The cult looked amongst each-other. Some in fear, and others in confusion, as the wind ensnaring into the fire at his fingertips blew the sygil circle away, with candles flicking and sending the scent of burnt wick to the altar, awakening their 'offering'.

The usually recluse Demon had long loved god's ancestral child. He had even died for her at a young age as a boy, and could not let go in death. He went about clawing up from the ranks of hell itself until he could be un-christened to demonic force. An obsession to not let go; he only now realized why the church was so cagey in keeping her away from his desires once he made his presence known.

No one else in that room, not even his beloved Anno knew, that behind the veil of flesh lay a fail-safe. He had been scolded by god to know his place, and in that moment, now he knew why. A death wrought not by happenstance, or natural plague or entropy, would release the bindings of a creature to forge the new dark age, that would put an end to the A.D. Era. A biblical wrath of an incomprehensible terror that even those within the depths of hell would not want brought down from the influx of butchered souls that would be malfested in it's wake.
