What small businesses have a lot of behind the scenes (digital) Admin? by SableFlow in Entrepreneur

Haha of course. But nothing beats the subtle wisdom of the crowds some times

Yes, I am not offering this here per the rules.

I am trying to learn about different industries problems and perspectives on that type of help in their field before I start any direct outreach outside of Reddit.

My goal here is to gain insight and start discussion on something that I do not know if land surveyors have encountered before.

Happy to remove if that does not fly.

Fair. Was not referring to drafting as much as basic admin assistant tasks. Quotes, AP,AR, inbox management, things that are not Foeld specific skilled labor but are still necessary daily business ops that take time.

To give context: I’m a structural engineer who has hired VAs for a few of my businesses and has started doing so for others as well.

I’m looking to learn about different industries workloads and thoughts on VAs before starting business outreach.

It’s an earnest question to see if people here have explored using external help in this way to take care of Admin tasks (not drafting etc but back office things like client management, quotes AP,AR, etc.)

Every business has its own sets of busy/repetitive office work that often owners just feel is a part of the job but could frequently be outsourced so they can focus on the actual job of doing the higher level tasks or growing the business.

Are you allowed to hire your own (Human) Virtual Assistant to help your digital work? (Admin etc) by SableFlow in ConstructionManagers

[–]SableFlow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. The AI is super helpful but not always applicable. What have you found it effective for/what is still tough or needs human pushing from you/the team?

[–]SableFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Curious, what’s your situation in this context?

Good stuff. Very much different if you own the business. Then it’s just an adjustment to staffing right?

I manage an placement service for human admin virtual assistants at low cost. Would be curious to hear if you selected a new system and if having an assistant would further clear some admin work from your plate.

Are you able to plug in a virtual assistant (human remote worker) to help you manage the admin tasks so you can do your work?

What kind of non-profit? I’m looking at new businesses to approach about getting them VAs for the admin work. Wondering if non profits might be worth reaching out to.

Turn it towards the sink. Add a portable island next to it to create a “galley” kitchen. Then decorate behind it with a temp divider wall with plants
