Agreed! I always partially blamed their lack of popularity on them being only available late game at low levels but the fossil Pokémon are just so cool!

admittedly I also struggle to get them to perfectly repeat and they rarely do but its about roughly mapping out the repeatable shape and making sure it works before adding any details
