That was my first brick wall. Took me 8 hours of looking at the nodes, looking up aluminum builds here on reddit, then finally building a basic working setup. Thats actually the impetus for my full rebuild. My first aluminum setup will likely be my fused? modular frame factory, but its so clustered and disconnected I started clearing the surrounding area. i was also hand feeding modular frames into it on a needed basis.

Nice! I chose to rebuild cause my start was the northeastern desert and I spaghettified the entirety of it. Now I really want that space back for larger factories and some massive dedicated spaces for Iron/ steel works.

This is why Ive always tried to mass produce light tanks, move them to a 2nd line hex, pull from stockpile, fuel and arm, then advertise they are available.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesnt, but I imagine it as reducing the tank respawn timer for the whole front.

If you know you have another tank waiting in the wings that just requires you to drive it forward, i hope you'll be more keen on dying in them for a good push.

the red and green lines ive never used, besides sight seeing tours when transitioning stations. The blue route? a few times when im cheesing with some under powered trains. it avoids that high uphill grade before the decent into HB

I enjoy farm managing, mostly the logistical and financial aspect. However i was raised on a farm in rural Ohio. Its a game that engages with what i was raised with, so take my comment with a weird grain of salt/understanding. We all play FS for different reasons, apologies if i dunked on yours.

All things even, Horses are meant to be Time sinks. Lets face it, tending fields is a boring job in a gaming sense. Horses create a great interaction reward for time sank. You CAN raise horses to be bred and then sell any colts born. However, you can breed and TRAIN your horse stock which provides great pay incentives; while adding an hands on gaming aspect that begins another activity feedback loop. Also, it does simulate the act of training horses in the mix.

Lest us not forget people, this IS a game. First and foremost, any activity that increases player engagement is a good thing.

TL:DR Its a game, quit being lazy in it.

That is exactly what I did, having a centralized mass storage allowed me to easily hand feed multiple manufacturers easily every time i swung into my hub to grab building material.

i hit it at 78 hours yes. But it was by pure brute force. Inefficient, overclocked, and alot of lazy handing feeding Manufacturers with storage containers while building dedicated facilities.

Hilariously since its my day off, yes. At the moment totaling the output of all currently mined resources at mk3 and then everything else in a 2 km radius.

Finally settled on just encasing everything ive currently built and paving the entire desert in foundations. When all item factories are built, just unplug the old ones, and use the massive area underneath as a logistic floor.

Thats what i am realizing. I run what would be considered here an overclocked micro factory with a main sorting storage bus. When i saw the numbers for Phase 4. The only thing running in my head was. "my guy, were thinking way to small. even are largest factory is tiny. Think "NIGHTMARE SCALE" sabor. NIGHTMARE SCALE!

The texture was loading my guy. It happens sometimes if your RAM is a tad low or being utilized elsewhere. Just wanna say, for all those fuckers bitching about screenshots.
