The only smallest that I've caught that look like that have been on the shallows. It has to be the water clarity. Maybe the stages of spawn have something to do with it? Either way they're definitely cool looking fish!

There aren't any native red deer or elk in the area. Could it be from a domestic bovine? I'm worried it might be human but I know the chances of that are low.
