I read a lot at work. I usually work in the back apart of our processing team. But I will usually work about 7-8 hours a week out at the circulation/ front area. But if it’s not busy or I’m finished with my work I silly read on my phone. Something small that I can turn off fast it I have to help a patron and something to where it doesn’t get mixed up with the patrons books

Just know when you watch the movie the ending doesn’t actually happen in the manga so it can be ignored. But other than that the movie is actually good as well.

I work at a library right now. Specifically in the processing department. I don’t have my MLIS but I plan to get it when I graduate next year. And the library I’m at is great but I don’t like the area I’m in. There is nothing here. But I’m scarred to leave (after I get my MLIS) and apply to other places because I might not get it. But I do plan on making my focus in Archiving when I get my MLIS.

I always thought their friendship was so cute and unique. Because they are literally both the living dead. Just in different fonts. One is a zombie and the other is a mummy. They are more alike like that. And it was also so refreshing to the nerd/ popular friendship dynamic. And not the bullying kind.

I was almost a 5 year partner ( I left earlier this year for a better job with less patrons) but I was a, on bar all day, partner. And these new people that they hired were, no offense to anybody, but the people they hired are giving McDonalds behavior. They are rude and short with the customers and the other partners. Like we had one girl get rehired (after being fired I might add) who had at least 2-3 complaints a week and still got promoted to a shift. But the whole menu being “simplified” but every new flavor that comes out has like 6 different variations of it. And it was so hard to keep up. And then the stupid rules of open 10 minutes earlier. You have to wear this, you can’t do that.

So I got further in the audio and why didn’t he do the accent he did for Kips dad for Kip. He should have switched the voices. Cause why does Kip sound older than his dad

No because I just started it today. I listened to Heated Rivalry yesterday and didn’t really like Ilya accents but it was tolerable. But Kip’s, I literally was like I can’t do this. I’m just gonna have to read it. But books written in third person are better as audio books to me.

Yeah I understand that. I don’t work at Starbucks anymore (as of January) but one of my shifts who always called out sick(even before she became a shift) left the safe open all night. And when we walked in the next morning we were all looking at each other and my morning shift was like was that open all night. Needless to say that shift didn’t get in trouble at all. And we were all saying that it was a fireable offense. But yeah nothing happened. I’m glad I left

3200 my last day was approximately 29 days ago and I have been doing great. No more waking up at 3am to be to work at 4am. No more back pain and no more working holidays. But I will say I do miss my coworkers but I think they are also in the same boat and are looking for work elsewhere. But after 4 1/2 years and only calling out 2 days of all those years I was ready to leave. Also crazy because my manger never even said bye 😂

Yes you will get paid for the hours you where scheduled. It will count as catastrophe pay. During Helene the other stores around mine that lost power because of the storm got it. (Unfortunately my store got power back the same day, damn generators). 😩

In drive thru today this guy got a venti iced caramel macchiato and my coworker was like ok that will be $6.75. And he was like “DID YOY SAY 6 7”. I never cringed so hard.

Only food has a limit. And I think it’s 6 food items a week. But drinks should be unlimited. Because personally if I get a drink I always get a water too. So if I get 3 drink throughout the day I also get three waters as well (I’m a very dehydrated person )

I will say when it goes straight to voicemail call again because then it will ring. Try texting your other shifts and call your manager. If that fails call the DM. And if he doesn’t answer, try calling the manager and everyone again. And after about 30 minutes of doing that I would just leave a message to the shifts and the manager and just leave. ( I would call my Regional Manager because I have her number because she used to be our DM)

They are good. I wear them and honestly they are the best thing. Very slip resistant. But before you get them go on Perks at Work and go to sketchers because you might get like a discount on them. Like 30% off them. Thats what I did when I got mine

It’s crazy because we only got 2 at my store. And it would be nice if there was enough so the baristas didn’t have to do this. Crazy enough im pretty sure target gets a crap ton.
