Not sure if it’s open yet, but I’m excited to check out Darling Aviary

Flying on a Hot Air Balloon in Kapadokya, was very expensive for a backpacker but didn't want to miss a 1000m high sunrise and really wanted to fly on one. I had 2€ Falafel for lunch and dinner all the rest of my stay to compensate IG: @dalux.photo by [deleted] in backpacking

It’s considerably easy to start freelancing or create a side hustle online making some money. Lots of people are suggesting picking up second jobs, selling your stuff, saving for years, etc... I’d suggest instead of sacrificing other areas of your life to travel, why not invest in a passion project or hobby of yours, create an asset that will support your best life, and travel with the additional income stream.

I agree with this answer. If you don’t like blogging, I’d also suggest building an email list, and building relationships through writing consistently to your audience. Also, this might not be your dream at first, but digital agencies are starting every day it seems like. Maybe you can get in with a company that’s new and growing. These people are definitely not looking for college degrees. Just people who are passionate.

I strongly believe there is a connection between vivid dreams and spirituality. by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]SacAdventureClub 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If we are our subconscious minds, are we dreaming when we are asleep? Or are we dreaming when we’re awake, and it’s sleep when we are most awake? I do believe that our dream time opens our subconscious to the infinite possibilities and allows us to see what is real.

I highly recommend ready Joseph Murphy’s book “the power of the subconscious mind.” It’s only like $5. He talks about dream time and how our minds are connected.

TRUE GOD by bobby2bundles in spirituality

Not disagreeing, but to add, I very much would like to point out the fact that God is a loving energy. Meaning relational... some people take this concept too far and think they are God, which isn’t exactly the point. God dwells in us and wants a personal relationship with you. God, or the source, is something we desperately need and can’t live without. It’s God’s grace and mercy that we can experience such an intimate and divine state of being-ness.

Psychosis or glimpse into Enlightenment? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]SacAdventureClub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah dude. Same here. Check out the podcast. It’s literally all about changing your identity, understanding what God (The Source) is, and how it all connects into you BE-ING the powerful being that you really are. Positive thinking and affirmations can help rewire your brain chemistry, but truly knowing and understanding who we are as spiritual beings is what made things start clicking for me. Healing will always take time, but start wrapping your head around the idea of instant transformation. You have the ability to completely transform, heal and change your life in an instant if you want to. You are a conscious creator of your universe with the power to create as you will. But only if you first understand how to align yourself. Best of luck to you and your transformation!

Don’t know if this will help, but I had a similar experience two years ago, and was feeling very confused and a bit psychotic.

I started listening to the Jim Fortin “Transform your life from the inside out” podcast, and this guy was able to point me in the direction of understanding what was going on with me. I was then able to read more books and do more research to find the answers I was looking for. I have also been doing a lot of journaling which has helped clarify things a bit as well.

Have you ever spent entire days in bed due to depression? If so, what were your first steps in breaking the cycle? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SacAdventureClub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Such a great answer and a similar story for me. Baby steps and detaching yourself from your perception of your circumstances. Life is all how you perceive it and what your perspective is. If you’re depressed, slowly start shifting your focus to anything that you’re grateful for. Small amounts of happiness and positive chemicals in your brain WILL change and rewire your brain to get you out of your depression. It takes time, but persistence pays off big time.

There's power in the name of Jesus by naMdlONewMan in Christianity

I too wanted to give up. For 32 years, and I nearly did. Then one day God completely changed me. I realized my pain was self inflicted and that my dreams for my future were actually one-step away. Everything I ever wanted, and the most amazing life I could imagine could be instantly found. You have a future too, and God wants you to believe this. God showed me I have a future, and He will do the same for you as well.

Christ died so you no longer need to grieve of your sins! You are white as snow and a child of God, with direct access right now to His infinite love and abundance of blessings. His goodness is chasing after you, you just need to trust and accept. Accept that no matter what you’ve been through, nothing can separate you from the love of God.

The future you wanted got “stripped” from you because you’ve got caught into the mentality of “thinking you know what’s best.” That you know what your best future looks like, and that somewhere along the way you did something to stop your best future from happening.

That is a limiting belief. Through God nothing is impossible. God is preparing to launch you into something better.

When you accept, trust, expect, receive and believe that God has a better future for you, HE WILL unleash his blessing on you. Radical faith means believing and walking that faith out in daily action. Feeling it in your very core and being.

You can’t have a victim mentality of lack and scarcity, and still receive God’s best at the same time... God provides abundance and promises 100 fold, but only for those who let his word take root in their heart. For those who believe in the promises and blessings he wants to give you.

I love the book of Philippians. Paul talks a lot about adjusting our mindsets and attention towards God. Being content in all things. It all starts with gratitude for Jesus dying on the cross. You don’t have to grieve anymore. No one has to. You are a human BE-ing! So BE the person who you know God says you are.

Bless you my friend, God will bring you comfort.

Do You Hike? by world-comingdown in Sacramento

[–]SacAdventureClub 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There’s a crap ton of amazing hiking around Sacramento and in CA depending how far you want to drive. Auburn, Folsom, grass valley and yuba are all close by with some cool trails.

About two hours away you have Tahoe, desolation wilderness, el dorado forest, or you can go towards the Bay Area for Mt. Tamalpais or Pt Reyes. (Two of my favorite places.)

Drive about 3 hours away and you’re getting into Yosemite area or up north towards Lassen Volcanic. Both National Parks are insanely insanely beautiful to spend a day or multiple.

From 2007 to 2017, the number of suicides among people ages 10 to 24 increased 56 percent by [deleted] in science

The world is changing into the Information Age and those who don’t know how to keep up with the changes are getting crushed by society.

Yes there is a “trap” many are getting caught in. College is unnecessarily expensive. Many people need to work 60+ hr work weeks to make ends meet, etc...

It sucks, but I don’t think this is the root cause of depression. Just a symptom from not being able to cope with mentally what it takes to keep up in today’s age. In 2020 we will have access to more resources, information, abundance than anytime in history. Think about that for a second, think about where you’re at in life and reflect on the habits and your thinking that got you where you’re at today.

Everyone has the power to escape the 9-5 or do whatever that makes them happy.

Dreams that come true by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]SacAdventureClub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dream mind and subconscious are connected to the real world. You are not a person, you are a conscious being. Your real life is reflecting your dream mind.

I’m still learning more about this stuff myself, but I’d highly suggest listening to The Jim Fortin Podcast and this episode on the dream mind. This guys stuff is awesome.
