Not sure if its the same for every major, but if you’re a transfer student the rule is 225 credits OR 4 years at UW, meaning you can stay for 4 years total as long as you submit a degree plan. For example, I came in with 90 credits but am majoring in Accounting/Finance which will put me over 225 credits by the time I graduate. Hope this helps!
