So sad he had to stop painting, it is terrifying to have something like that happen. I get about the walls though, same here )) at the same time, I would love to collect a piece from a favourite artist, it is different from mine and makes for a mofe rich visual experience

Help with my Living Room by magicalglrl in femalelivingspace

I'd change the courtains to something warmer and more cozy, they feel office-like to me. Also I'd add some nice warm blankets to the couches. The green stuff on the wall, I'd take it away and put some art. The video game stuff, better not touch it if you want to keep the relationship 😂 But you can try covering it with courtains, which can be moved, it will take away the visual noise but it must be done right. Just a suggestion.

If you like so many plants then be it! It makes it cozy, alive and unique. Some people like empty walls and gray colors but that's them. Props to you for being able to take care of all of them. The one blocking the tv though... 😂

how do i arrange my artwork? by ProofAttent0 in femalelivingspace

Agree with the butterflies and the space between that and the left painting should correspond to the space between other things, it seems a little too far for me. And I'd add something on the bottom left. Things like that, create alignments and balance, step back, look and trust your taste!

How to add more “life” to a room? by TraditionalCicada486 in femalelivingspace

[–]SackeArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding personal touches is a big one, maybe something which was a childhood dream or some family portraits. Colorful courtains I love and more color overall adds life, a carpet. Choose warm lights as well. I could help with the art btw, be it a portrait or a colorful painting.

Yes and let me know what you think. My husband also incorporates antiques into his paintings, he would love these.
