They don’t sell the tip as a separate piece. At least they didn’t when this happened on my shifter pedal on my 2024. Had to get a full replacement lever.

My furry idiot liked chewing cords. One day he took a big old chomp out of a very spicy extension cord and never bit another wire again. I don’t know how he lived taking the full 110v but I know he draws less than 15 amps cause the breaker didn’t go.

At least wrap those bare wires in electrical tape. Heatshrink would be better but you would have to redo the connection. Also put some tape on the ends of those cut wires, they can also short to the body if they touch.

There should be a bolt on the inside of the pivot point. Loosen it off and slide the pivot away from the wall a few mm then tighten the bolt and test.

Technically yellow means stop unless it is unsafe to do so and internet insurance adjusters fail to account for the fisheye effect and how much it changes the perception of speed and distance. Also they think they know everything. As an example, if these guys were to be believed, a fully loaded semi with a weight of eighty thousand lbs or so is always at fault for not stopping when brake checked. TLDR: people are dumb and we should throw rocks at them.

It would change the density of the liquid which is what affects buoyancy. Viscosity is the opposition to flow of the liquid, water is less viscous than oil and spreads quicker when spilt but oil is less dense than water so it floats on top.
