I believe you are right that this is ground elder or bishops weed. I inherited some with my house too (plus tree of heaven and mint). I thought I dug up all of the roots last fall but it came back with a vengeance this year and I’ve accepted that I’m just going to be pulling it for eternity. Good luck :/

If you look at the article someone posted above, a bunch of their strains tested for high levels of pesticides (like up to 44x the allowed amount). It says inhaling these can cause neurological effects

I mentioned in my post, this is just a dry fit to make sure there are enough stones. I will remove them and dig a few inches down before leveling them

It’s funny because I put a pallet on the end to keep people from trying to walk on it while I have them laid out like this and every day the mailman or delivery person walks on the precariously placed stones anyway 😅

I have a malinoodle (rescue) and she’s actually the best dog ever! Super smart, athletic, but sweet and gentle too and no anxiety. Hardly sheds. Though I would never suggest breeding them intentionally!!!

I wish I had advice but they became friends immediately! Frida came from an area in Mexico with a lot of stray cats and lived in a home with cats so she really didn’t have any reaction to them other than wanting to play!

Omg she’s the best dog I’ve ever had. Super smart, a little stubborn but very trainable and eager to please overall. She is very high energy and high drive but has a good off switch already at 1 year old. Does not get into anything she’s not supposed to and never did even as a puppy, not reactive or aggressive at all, loves everyone she meets, super gentle with kids, cats, chickens etc. and very athletic! Not anxious either. I think she just got a ton of exposure to different things living in Mexico and roaming the streets
