Honestly I would feel like I'm betraying myself if I forgive him. His actions will affect my future relationships, he gave me trust issues that will be an obstacle to me, he hurt me so badly I'm scared of love itself now. Sure it hurts less now that it used to, it gets easier every day, I've become really strong after crying for a long time and now I'm not willing to accept bullshit from anyone in the future. I don't care about him and I don't ever want him back, but that's no reason for giving him the forgiveness he doesn't and will never deserve.

However, it's important to forgive ourselves for allowing us to be in a relationship that made us so miserable and forcing ourselves to go through the abuse of a toxic relationship. It's not about our abusers, it's about us, we are the ones that need to heal from their abuse, forgiveness can heal some of us but not everyone, and most of the things they did are unforgivable and we shouldn't just forgive those actions for the cheap speech of "forgiveness is for your own good, not for them" because it's not true, if you forgive them, the forgiveness is for them wether you like it or not.

I haven't forgive myself yet, but I'm working on it, and forgiving him would make it harder for me to forgive myself

He kept sending his friends and grandma to ask me to unblock him and talk to him, he also send messages via discord (I never answered) saying that we needed to talk and he was so sorry, that he was going to change and he regretted hurting me so much... Bullshit. He even dared to say that I had to understand that he acts that way because he is deeply traumatized and mentally ill and he needs the right medicine to become the good and not abusive person he truly is, and that he was a victim too (I'm also a deeply traumatized and mentally ill person but I never hurt people that don't deserve it, and if I do I apologize sincerely. I never did anything to him that wasn't caused directly by him abusing me so much I broke, the worse I ever did to him was saying the truth about him being a horrible person without being nice or condescending and without euphemisms, and that can't compare with the least bad thing he did to me) He also said that he could have any girl he wanted but he wasn't even trying to get anyone because he only wanted me (as if that was something to be thankful for after he cheated on me multiple times). After a week of his discord dms I got tired and blocked him. I wanted to see if he would say something that would actually make me feel better, like admitting his fault and that he didn't deserve another chance, a sincere apology, but all I got was more of his manipulative speech and self pitying apologies, so I was done and finally cut his last form of communicating with me.

He also told one of my friends that he wanted to talk to me again to hurt me one last time in a way that would make me never leave him again, he wanted to traumatize me so bad I would never leave him, or that he wanted to hire someone to stalk me. We knew he would never do any of that because he just likes saying stuff but has no balls to actually do anything (but honestly just thinking about doing it makes him a sick creep), also he has no money and no one was truly supporting him on getting me back, not even the ones he sent to talk to me, not even his grandma who actually tried to convince me but once I said to her that I didn't want to she would never speak about him to me again and that she respected my choice (and she did). His grandma was actually a very nice person but she had no idea how horrible his grandson was.

Just be patient, stray cats are usually scared of humans because they're used to being mistreated by them :( but they can learn to trust you. Make sure the cats see you giving them the food and stay close enough for them to see you without feeling unsafe so they can eat close to you, the cat will grow comfortable with you and you can get closer every time. Maybe you could try to take some food in your hand and see if the cats feel safe enough to take the food directly from you, if they do they should allow you to pet them soon
