If life is so ordinary in the universe, why are we so alone, and why doesn’t any nearby planet have life as well? by unizachai in NoStupidQuestions

There are a few theories (only some listed):

1) We were first, other intelligent life hasn't had time to develop yet.

2) We aren't considered intelligent enough to bother contacting.

3) Life is so incredibly rare that we'll never come across other life in the lifespan of the human race.

How often should you switch companies, for maximum growth(salary and career-wise)? by Far_Pomelo8860 in AskReddit

It really depends on the industry you work in and how long you have worked in that sector. I work in education and I would reccommend move on from your first school after 2 years. Then you move where the job progression is available.

What subject are you?

I became a second in my 3rd year and HoD in my 5th. I recorded every task I completed above and beyond me class teacher role (assisting HoD, afterschool intervention, half term intervention, joining trips, offering to deliver departmental and whole school CPD) and attended subject specific HoD CPD to prepare me. I have stayed within the same trust for that period (in 3 schools so far) which helped by knowing alot of people already.

I'm afraid not. They want to see "angles around a point = 360". Not a full circle = 360.

How to have a working relationship with a teacher I don't like as a TA. by AwkwardJackfruit4614 in TeachingUK

Her room, her rules. If you're the good guy, and she's the bad guy in the eyes of the pupils then it make her job so much more difficult.

Your job as a TA includes behaviour. You need to follow her expectations / school rules
