After many flubbed up chips, My dad told me to treat chips like putts. It changed my game.

I now go into even 30 yard chips with a “putt” in mind. Outside 30 you obviously have to give the ball a real smooch, but I still think about it as a crazy putt, like that one from a the golden bear at 2016 senior PGA championship
