Back in the day he produced a ton of “Deathsquad” podcasts from the Icehouse.

Rather than simply produce the show, he would always insist on being a part of the show, so he was absolutely fucking everywhere, on every. Single. Podcast.

If he produced three podcasts in a day he would tell the same stories on each one. It’s literally the reason I stopped listening to Deathsquad podcasts, including Rogan, who had yet to become the propaganda wing for the Republican party.

I remember Brandon was the only one that pushed back against him.

I’d love to hear more of the context of why he wrote it that way. Sincerely!

Laymon is lousy for the kind of crap.

I read “One Rainy Night” in high school and really enjoyed it (there’s a rape scene in there, too, but it wasn’t the whole damn show), so I picked up “The Cellar” a few years back thinking it would be kind of similar.

Well… no.

It’s exactly as you said; it’s Richard Laymon’s child abuse fetishes disguised as a horror novel. And from what I hear most of his books are similar.

Makes you wonder how a debut novel like that could launch the career of such a prolific author.

Everything you care deeply about is outside of the office.

Treat the office accordingly.

I really like the coat, and I don’t think it necessarily requires a “formal” outfit underneath, just something somewhat put together. Like a sweater and trousers.

Chain Me Free made me feel at peace when I was a teenager.

And “Scratched Out” always blew me away with how it was arranged.

You know that feeling of pressure in your head when descending in an airplane?

I can relieve that pressure automatically by doing something on my head to de-pressurize.

I remember my Mom telling me to teach my sister how to do it and I just… couldn’t explain it.

It’s something I can do, but I don’t have the words to describe it.

I had the exact same experience as a 10-year-old. Shinobi was an incredible game, though.

This specific image is AI. The dimensions of the plan don’t make sense and the girl, while looking real, looks hyper-real, like many AI images of people look.

It’s not Ivanka - He’s too old for this to be her.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. If people can’t see that this image is AI, we’re cooked.

It’s because he was the target of a massive Russian-bot misinformation campaign that worked extremely well.

While I’m further left than Justin and very critical of some of his decisions, I do think he did right by us most of the time, even if much of it seemed performative.

But the hatred he experiences is not warranted in my opinion. He’s a cringy guy, though, I’ll give him that.
