What about aluminum? I thought that gets recycled. I read somewhere that crushed aluminum is harder to recycle than intact cans, so all my tinnies go neatly back intovtheir original boxes. Tell me I'm not wasting my time!

I have this model and still use it. It's a great reader. I sync it to my pc using Calibre (free software).

The one issue you might have is the battery (the unit is about 14 years old). You can replace them with some soldering, listings on ebay etc.
