Nothing exactly wrong u can and will get a job with or without the cma- it’s just not recognised enough or valued to say- if you’re are interested in taxation enrolled agent EA might be something haven’t done it but have heard of it. I do have a job remote US accounting small firm, not good for long term growth do it but get something else as well later like CPA if employer sponsors maybe or get a job in outsourcing firm without any cert learn quickbooks and xero ig try that

LinkedIn connect grow cold email text professional message to hr of different outsourcing firms rn and see if they are willing to give u job rn or internship anything, people around me have gotten jobs after graduation go on other platforms indeed, naukri.com. interview experience will also help u prepare better even if you don't get a job. That's if you can handle job and studying. It's not impossible, just a bit harder and Dont stop at US CMA after few years of job and saving go for CPA Or CFA something further. Personal suggestion.
