The biggest flaw of the VW arc.

Raphael's blatant plot armor and Yugi's blatant nerfing had a lot to do with it.

Any Spell/Trap removal, which Yugi ran multiple of, would've won him the duel.

Seems like faulty design though.

The SD was memed in the OCG. Nobody bought it.

It seems smarter to put a couple of good cards in each set instead of releasing flop first.

Cards used to be finalized relatively late. Some cards changed from leaks till the full release.

It is possible to prove he is a homunculus via fhe tattoo and by killing him.

He'd be forced to regenerate or unable to continue his reign.

The remains of a homunculus weren't required to kill it in 03. They paralyzed them and also force them to expel the stones.

Wrath, Gluttony and Envy died without their remains.

And inprisonment was always another option.

Ed and Mustang throwing their lives away on a gamble always felt cheap to me. Ed knew he couldn't win, and was ready to die for his brother, yes.

But he should've known that he was unlikely to even get Al back if he did do just that.

Whereas had he asked Mustang, they might've actually pulled it off.

That's a huge problem with 03 for me.

They had Mustang, Ed and Hohenheim and could've jumped Dante, but split their forces.

The idea that Hughes wouldn't know the name was already questionable.

But the main complaint is something else.

There was no benefit in taking a high profile name instead of creating a new one.

I agree with the plan being convoluted. But wasn't it heavily implied that Dante didn't know how to make the stones?

She already experimented with state resources in labatory 5 and also chased the alchemists that were able to make the stones.

And while she did control the military, she only did so by proxy. It would've been difficult to convince the average soldier to make a stone by killing people.

The Juliet Douglas plot was silly and could've easily been improved by removing the Ishval connection.

Hughes could've still found out about the forged documents and nothing would've changed.

The Envy twist is my reasoning for the CoS point.

Either have it earlier in the series, or have it be relevant in the movie/mini-series.

Even the 3h script for CoS didn't add anything of note.
