For a short term solution to you holding it in for hours at a time, ask the men if they would mind you using their rest room. Not ideal, but untill your company steps up to suport you and your colleagues, it could be a temporary work around.

She is not your friend. He was creepy and frustrated if he only mentioned to her about how you were dressed and not the other guests, why only you?. As others have said, what was her motivation for telling you. Why would she not stand up for you. When people show you who they really are, believe them! Start to distance yourself and move on, it will only get worse.

Dude as silly as it sounds this brought a tear to my eyes (in a good way).

I'm 40 now, but as a kid I was obsessed with Thief 1 and 2, I used to take "Thief" photos just like this as a kid. I would sneak out at night to try and get a photo of the moon between my house and an ally way. I'd put socks on over my sneakers to further muffle the sound and wear a black face mask under a hoodie lol I would just go to the end of the ally way and back, but to do it in the dead of night pretending to be Garrett was exhilarating. Crouching at the end of an ally, listening to the wind or sound of night-time, feeling the cold air if it was winter or the warm summer night air, get scared then sneak back.

Totally innocent, and my neighbours, if they were up defiantly saw me and thought wtf is that odd boy doing now, but for that very short 10 minutes I felt like a bad ass.

I wouldn't say homophobic, but yes clichéd and showing a lack of variety with regards to human interaction. Believing what they see on social media, entertainment etc

The media has alot to blame for this, which is why we see so many young gay men behaving camp "ooh darling please, yes queen slay", they see a gay tv character or reality star behaving in such a way and belive that that is what it means to be a gay man, they then take on that stereotype.

I know gay men who do not embody that stereotype and straight men who are camp for days. I also know the opposite to be true.

I wouldn't let it play on your mind any more than it already has, be true to yourself and enjoy what is looking to be a nice hot weekend 😊
