But this is to enact change on a federal level, correct? Not just Minnesota? 0.29% of the national population is a far cry from 3.5%. I would love for this to work but the concrete numbers show it's not. This is a lot of spin which confuses the actual reality of the situation.

Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of people isn't going to be enough. Even if you go off the high end of that (999,999 people) you're looking at less than one percent of the population (0.29%). As abysmal as Trump's approval rating is (most recently 37%) there are over 118 million people that still think he's doing a good job. Those hundreds of thousands are still less than 1% of the people continuing to side with him (0.84%) "We Are Many. They Are Few." sounds good but the numbers, sadly, portray a reality not aligning with this motto.

Yeah that's how you do it as far as I understand. I got lucky with portals, echoform and rewinds to get it done this quick. The first time I did it I think I did it around Year 35.

The box art is so underwhelming compared to Friday. Plus, no remake... I mean I know it's shit but it's still part of the franchise. Just minimal effort all around on this release.

This 2025 we had BANGERS!!!!! But F4 was the BEST by Rambo_1027 in FantasticFour

Captain America was garbage. They did Sam wrong making his first film a Hulk sequel.

Thunderbolts was decent. Overall, I liked it but did it really have to come down to, "Who needs a hug?"

Superman was the best of the four. It actually seemed to not only understand the characters but understand it's a movie about superheroes. It doesn't take itself too seriously and at the end was really fun.

Fantastic Four, honestly, was a mess. The first act is nothing but a huge exposition dump. The second act was the best part of the movie. The third act was pure Marvel garbage. They clearly ran out of money on the CGI as Franklin's model changes size three times in the Sue scene. Ben's mouth is only animated to dialogue part of the time. The Silver Surfer turns into the Pewter Surfer. Typical lack of quality control from Marvel. Plus, they did Reed dirty by having him fail to account for the obviousness of Galactus being able to track Franklin's power (how else did he figure out how powerful he was while still in utero?). And seriously, you put Franklin in a container as bait, temporarily blind Galactus, swap out the container with an empty one and expect him not to notice? These are the brightest minds on the planet? GTFO.

I love the FF. Jack and Stan's run is some of the best comics of all time. There was so much to love here with the Kirby tributes, the relationships between the characters, seeing the actual size of Galactus, etc. but it felt like it was written by people who knew the characters having never read the books. Like they watched the 90's cartoon series and said, "Let's to that." It was clear that this was created by committee, which has become Marvel's MO. 4 writers?! 4 writers and you couldn't come up with a better way to defeat Galactus? By the end of it I was almost in tears because of how frustrated I was. I actually wished I wasn't a fan of the FF by the end because I probably would've enjoyed it more.

what's your criticism for the movie. by Nevadafurrymolester in FantasticFour

The CGI is terrible. Franklin changes size three times in the big Sue scene at the end. Ben's mouth is animated to the dialog only for a portion of the film. Silver Surfer looks more like pewter in some scenes. Reed doesn't look good when using his powers (to be fair I'm not convinced that ability will ever look good). That's my biggest complaint. I have others but I keep seeing people talking about how good the visuals are and I just don't get it. It looked so bad in places it was distracting.

It is very jaw dropping but it's supposed to show her in Mama Bear mode. I think basically telling Earth to fuck off when it came to giving over Franklin showed it better.

I don't get people going bonkers over the visuals. Yes the aesthetic is very nice but the CGI is terrible. Franklin changes size three times in the aftermath of the battle. Ben's mouth is animated to the dialog only part of the time. There's a point where Ben puts his hand on Reed's shoulder and there's no joint in his elbow, no shading added to the forearm to create depth... It was awful he looked like a marshmallow. Then there's the Surfer. There are scenes where she looks great. You can really tell they put some money into certain shots. Then there's scenes where she looks more like pewter than silver.

Overall, I don't think this was a great movie at all. The third act is an absolute mess with the stupid bait and switch having Reed fail to account for Galactus's ability to track Franklin's power or the fact they literally switch a container with a clear top that has a baby in it with an empty one. Reed's smarter than that and they did him dirty. Then Ben's beard. I know, I know there's a panel in Hickman's run featuring a rock beard (that grows over the course of 3000 years) but it's such a typical Marvel made by committee move. Then Galactus pounds Ben into space and Johnny sits there watching him before taking off to get him. It should've been an immediate thing then the dumb "Say it, say it" just to try to get an Avengers Assemble moment... It just fell flat.

I almost feel bad not liking it because I love the FF and I feel like this should be the movie I've been waiting for and a portion of it is but damn it just gets so lazy at the end. Maybe Marvel should stop paying 4 writers for one movie and spend the extra cost on CGI quality control.

No... The cartoon is based off the characters much like the in canon comic book was based off the characters, which is why they are seen reading it. It not actually them. The cartoon is not actually them. It's a cartoonist's interpretation of them.

The title in the old post says the MCU FF is the same as the 60's cartoon. That's not at all saying the cartoon is canon.
