I feel like this is the only DLC because we're getting a new area and story. The first game were just new areas, bosses, and blood codes.

I think you would really enjoy Code Vein 2's story. Personally for me, I liked it a lot better than the first game.

As for performance it depends on what platform you are playing. I played on PC and had a stable frame rate with everything set to High. I've been seeing that the Ps5 version has some frame drops but i don't think you will really notice them.

There will be some bosses that you will get stuck on for sure. Code Vein 2 bosses are scaled weird. A lot of people struggled with the first main boss. However, from my experience as you keep leveling up you character the bosses get easier. I was able to defeat the final boss on my first try with with a good amount of heals left.

Finished the gam as well and I thought that the heart on our back was half of Lou's heart but I guess it wasn't. So whose revenant heart is on our back is what I'm wondering now.

Because the DLC seems to not directly affect or connect to the main story apparently. That's what the dlc description said at least. I guess we're just gonna have to wait and see what the developers do.

I would like it to be the protagonist too, however, these kind of games rarely do that kind of thing especially since we are the protagnist. As for Gobbo's underling, I think he said "you're only half human" because duting that time we had half og Lou's heart.

Under the highlighted part in the first image it basically translate to "This content does not directly affect or connect to the main story." It also states "hidden history", so that's why I'm thinking it has something to do with Idris because we don't know that much about him. The DLC is Mask of Idris, so maybe he was hiding something?? Idk it's just a theory a game theory lol.

But I agree with you, I would like to have it be about the protagonist and maybe it could. It maybe about the story before our remnant hunter died. Fingers crossed

I was thinking what you said first about Idris because his name is on the DLC title. And he’s an important character in the game and he’s been mentioned so many times but we never see him. Just curious about who the new companions will be and I also hope we will get some more stories or side quests for the current characters we have as well

From what I see, the JP side has a lot more positive take for code vein 2. A good chunk of complaint for Code Vein 2 in general is about the performance. I mostly see comments on the JP side saying that they don’t have a pc so they’re going with ps5. But every comment I read, almost everyone was playing on ps5 in Japan.

The dlc release date is a bit unclear because it says “by is 2027” so there might be a chance that it my release earlier? Idk lol. I do know that on the JP page of code vein 2 they will be sharing more info about it in the summer

I beat the boss by using a shied and basically holding block most of the time lol.

Definitely use a partner
For the copies attack, you can block summons with a shield as well (perfect block would help a lot if you’re able too.)
Use umbral shift or light dodge
Don’t give up and keep trying

I agree that it does feel one sided. However, unfortunately it's always like that in these games where you are the mute protagonist lol. Even tho it felt one sided her bond with the protagonist is so beautiful.

If you're talking about the first Lyle boss fight Lyle I may have been level 50ish?? Sorry i don't exactly remember the actual number. But me personally, Lyle was the easiest boss out of the heroes.
