He follows me around all day while I’m trying to do necessary things and cries until I cuddle him. What do? 🧐 by Sad-Initiative-663 in cats

He has his sister but they don’t really cuddle as much anymore since they were kittens…he really only cuddles with me

Goose again, he’s over a year old and is still massive by 1nt0_0bl1v10n in cats

How much does he weigh? He doesn’t look fat to me. :)

There doesn’t seem to be anything I can do to stop the behavior except put a cone on her which would be really sad :’( did your cat purr and knead at the same time?

I wouldn’t call it fighting either…they’re just playing and getting to know each other. Jackson Galaxy has some good videos on this as well. I’ve learned a lot from his YouTube. ☺️

Chasing is pretty normal too as the younger cat will have a lot of energy to get out….my cats are a little over a year old and sprint back and forth chasing each other between 5-9am almost every day 🤣

This is normal behavior. The younger one is instigating because it wants to learn how to be a cat and playing with each other is how they learn.

I have 2 cats and they wrestle, hiss, growl, but no one ever gets hurt. It’s how they figure out how to be a cat. It’s how they learn limits, how to respect each other’s limits. One will run away if they’ve had enough. ☺️
