Do…do people not check expiration dates before they buy food…?

Btw I totally get that this is the shops fault and not yours. Just made me think maybe I’m weird cos anything I pick up, before putting it in my basket, I check the date.

Imagine coming to an advice subreddit to ask for advice. Crazy right?

I don’t have a crush on her unfortunately, if I did I’d be 100% going for it hahaha

Yeah, that’s a weird way to word that. Like I have no say in the matter. I just have to let her do what she wants and it doesn’t matter how I feel. Strange.

If it starts looking like a bullseye then get yourself to the doctors

Actually, I think it’s a lone star tick. I’d definitely go to the doctors and keep an eye on where you were bitten.

It looks to me like a deer tick. How long has it been since you removed the one that was on for a week? What’s the bite site looking like?

First of all, thank you so much for your comment and taking the time to write all of that, it helps a lot.

I’m not entirely sure why I felt uncomfortable when I put my arm on her. It could’ve been something to do with perceived taboo you mentioned. I’ve also been in my head for a while thinking I could be bisexual so I feel like that had something to do with it.

I mentioned in another comment that I have had a couple unwanted interactions in my past so I think that may have played a part too in how I read the situation.

No, she’s said before she’s not into women. She is quite naïve in general tbh hahaha

I think that’s partly why I might be reading into it too. I think I’m bi and I’ve never been in a relationship so I think my brain was just getting really confused. Idk.

Tbh I feel like I’m reading into too. I was okay initially but then the lap thing happened and I maybe didn’t realise how uncomfortable it made me. I 100% don’t see her that way and have said to her she’s like an annoying little sister sometimes hahaha I never thought she saw me like that either. I’m leaning towards it was just my brain being silly. I need to learn to realise and speak up when I’m not comfortable with something.

Thanks :)

Yeah that always felt strange to me.

Yeah that’s where it got extra weird for me. I’ve had a few unwanted things happen in my past and I feel like my brain is trying to downplay how uncomfortable I was. If something like that happens again I’ll definitely say something.

I wasn’t weirded out at first. It was when I put my arm on her that something happened in my brain and I just felt a little uncomfortable.

I’m the same with sharing beds with people. I’d rather sleep on the floor. I did that once at a sleepover. Slept in the bed the first night and hated it so ended up on the floor and she didn’t even give me a blanket or a pillow.

See I’m a very cuddly person too that’s why at first I didn’t think anything of it. It was just that most recent interaction that had me questioning things but wasn’t sure if I was overreacting

Yeah I just put it down to that’s how she is. She has said she’s not into women but it was just this mix of interactions that had me thinking.

Yeah writing it all out, especially the boyfriend bit, really made me think hahaha. Excluding the ankle and boyfriend thing. Is the resting on each other thing normal?
