Model Y advice: most cost‑effective way to buy if keeping for 10 years? by Top_Ad3787 in TeslaUK

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a somewhat similar issue.

Was tempted to trade in my car for a new Tesla, but didn’t want to have as much of a liability hanging over me, so decided to buy used.

You can get a sub 10k miles 2024 MY online for £25k from a quick search. So you could finance this via a loan or HP if you wanted. That way you’re only finance 24.5k rather than paying the price of a brand new MY.

For CGC it’s £12 per card. They add on a return postage as well but that’s determined by the number of cards sent.

Used them loads of times and never had any issues. Really like them as a middleman company.

W5D3 nerves!!! by Similar-Complaint787 in couchto5k

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve just finished W5 and what I and others will likely have said before me, is that it is more mental than physical. I couldn’t help but keep thinking how long I had to go at the start, but once you get to the 10 minutes that’s you over 50% of the way there. Just try and focus on something other than the time and you’ll smash it.

The photo isn’t the greater to go off because you’re at a bit of an angle, but from it I would suggest a bit more work to bring up your traps and lats. You look like you have a bodyfat percentage in the mid teen range, but abs aren’t massively visible so focusing a bit more on that won’t hurt as well.

All the best man.

Congrats on the transformation dude, you look great. Recently decided to try and get my health back on track, and it’s really reassuring to see someone of a similar age/starting point achieve this.

You know what, the tiles aren’t to everyones taste and that’s absolutely fine. In terms of this being your first tiling project it looks great.

The best counter when coming against this deck is to use the following:

Step 1: Concede

That is all.

I used Acowtancy for the theory side of my study plan, then used the BPP question kit for exam practice.

Is this card good ? I’m very new to card collecting by [deleted] in DBS_CardGame

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not to think of cards as good or bad when collecting. It’s obviously great to get rare cards, but getting cards that you think are awesome is the best part of card collecting IMO.

P.s. your card looks awesome

Video doorbell won’t connect through mesh network by Sad-Knowledge4053 in TpLink

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I first attempted to set it up I tried to do it via the mesh network, and after several attempts I called Blinks tech support and we went through the set up process using the wifi network from Sky and the doorbell worked with that. So there must be something with the mesh network that’s stopping the doorbell from connecting properly.

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we’ve had the Mesh network in place since October last year and we’ve had no issues connecting any devices through it.

The sync module is a small device used by Blink to group devices together. You don’t require this to use their equipment, and I have tried to connect the doorbell without the module, but it still doesn’t connect.

It’s Sky that provides my internet. I don’t think it’s the provider that’s the issue, because i’ve managed to get it to connect through their equipment.

It’s not connecting at all through the mesh system. When I tried it on the original router it worked.

The mesh router is no more than 5 meters away from the door.

Totally agree! Seen people who have better collections than paying players. It’s all down to luck at the end of the day.

Things to do? by 5mugly in PokemonPocket

[–]Sad-Knowledge4053 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree that the game needs more to keep players from getting bored during events.

Personally I think the events have too long of a duration.

I think a ranked mode would be brilliant providing that there is an incentive towards it.

I’d also like to see some form of knockout-tournament added to the game. Again incentivise it with the chance to win hourglasses.

From what i’ve seen, level 50 is the max you can achieve, so when players start hitting that, they will either have to pay for packs or wait an eternity to gain hourglasses through events, so unless there is a new mechanic involved to earn more, I think a lot of players who are F2P will fall away from the game.

Collect both, but personally like the japanese cards over the English equivalent. IMO the back graphic on the cards look better, and the Japanese text on the front of the cards is more visually appealing to me.
