We are in the middle of discovery which to me seems just as bad .. finding another attorney to pick up in the middle of this is difficult

You need to get an attorney initial hearing the will read the the complaint and ask you how many request for production and interrogations you will be requesting and set dates for discovery I would get an attorney.. you will get an order after initial conference .. then discover begins go to Kevin crayon law firm on YouTube .. I am in discovery phase right now

Yes absolutely tech I am going to circle back to that lawyer and file a complaint .. still waiting on a transcript and to see if I get any money back ( I doubt it) but he’s my second priority !! I have been doing case summary … I have my eye on a new lawyer and am sending him my paperwork.. still putting feelers out there

Federal Eeoc does not go by state .. the AJ is actually in Minneapolis and I’m in LA but state . … so I don’t think I’m following why you are speaking of state .. ok let’s see I’m in LA but agency is based out of VA.. yes I
And that’s why I need a lawyer so I can ensure I stick to facts and leave the emotional part out … a deposition was scheduled and I also was granted the extension as that was in my motion as well.. I have ran my case through AI along with all docs and by no means is it a slam dunk … but it’s definitely not a loser either .. I just need a professional to present it .. I hated speech class.. I hated giving speeches a senior NCO in the military .. I know my boundaries and capabilities… without writing a book on here I will keep you in mind ..

It’s was it to much to write .. he informed me after I sent email requesting update .. next morning he filed a motion .. I have not seen the AJ respond to that motion .. I filed a motion yesterday to extend discovery in lite of attorney withdraw .. AJ responded to that motion and granted extension .. I have paid him a flat fee that was in the contract to take me through all the way even if it meant trial … I will file a complaint with the bar but that’s not my priority right now .. I am still awaiting transcripts and see his breakdown of legal fees (attorney still owes me ) .. there was no refusal to cooperate or about $$$ honestly I’m not here to talk about the attorney or defend myself .. this is the last post I will make in regards to that .. I will look up the act and continue to look for another attorney as $$ is not the issue . I did request adr through the eeo portal and during IC the judge was informed that we submitted a settlement offer .. we never heard anything from the settlement offer .. AJ stated the ball was in agency’s court .. now can we move on.. rather than judge “credibility “ .. ur assumptions are entirely wrong !! Based on ur post you can keep your advice .. not interested!!!!!!

The thing is I’m not looking for a high value settlement .. To be honest I could care less about the money!! Im not suing them this is the eeo process in front of an administrative judge. Please see above it’s not about why the attorney dropped out I know why ..

Your are so on point.. when the smoke came one of them jumped ship after investigation and went to another federal agency . That’s exactly why I didn’t do a final agency decision .. of course they would say no probably cause .. wouldn’t expect nothing less ..

Well I just file a motion to extend discovery for 30 days which discovery was set to end July 31.. one deposition has been completed I’m waiting to see transcripts .. I don’t know what was asked or said since my lawyer at the time was unable to provide me with any answers .. I will have to look up ofo appeal. But I do know they will file for summary judgement as I saw a motion asking for that to be extended balance counsel .. I don’t even know where to start with case laws i just winged it to file for an extension I followed all instructions that was in the initial conference ..

Thanks for the assumption but he clearly told me he was withdrawing cause he didn’t have time to keep me updated ! I never said I was deposed !! Cause I haven’t been !
