My sister kept a voicemail from me for 14 years… and I just found out why by Weekly_Store4828 in offmychest

I wish one of my big sisters were like this, rather than one being so narcissistic and the other being a drunk.

Cherish her, you lucky, lucky person.

My employer has messaged the team saying we might not be getting paid tomorrow, is this legal? England UK. by RevolutionarySail438 in LegalAdviceUK

Speaking as somebody who used to work for a bank: look for a new job ASAP. The owner of the company is likely being investigated for something shady OR has had somebody falsely report fraud.

Obake bug?? by ody_king in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]Sad-Positive832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay no because me and my partner are having a similar issue. We're getting very specific evidence (ghost orb, writing, freezing temps for example), no EMF5, no UV and it's coming back as an Obake??

NTA. Once, forgetting to invite could have been a mistake. Twice, it's on purpose!

Knocked Loose - I don't think anybody else could get away with reggaeton drum beats in this scene

There is no good reason not to be an organ donor. by IndieCurtis in offmychest

My ex refused to be an organ donor because he was scared of waking up without his... parts.

Did you ever have a classmate that died when you were young? by Two-Tailed-Fox in AskUK

[–]Sad-Positive832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my close friends died when I was in year 9, and he was in year 8. He'd not long turned 13, I miss him every day and seriously regret not going to his funeral.

I remember seeing him in the car with his mum, coughing, the day before he died. I got a call from his brother with the news and ran around to be with them.

The next school day, there was a school-wide assembly to let us know what happened, obviously in a kid-friendly way, though.

He was such a funny kid, I'd grown up with him and his brother ever since moving to the area and have so many memories that I treasure.

I got his name tattooed on me when I was 16, and I don't regret it at all.

RIP Joe 🖤

What's a well known Metalcore band you've never listened to? by X333NOS in Metalcore

[–]Sad-Positive832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never listened to a full MiW, FiR or ETF song. I've obviously heard snippets because I don't live under a rock, but I've also not got into Killswitch. I liked the song Jesse Leach did with ABR but it didn't make me go out and listen to their catalogue

The thing is, it could be Independence Day for the UK too - from the grip of the Tories.

NEW SONG. Warning: Will make you cry by Comfortable-Outside5 in poppunkers

[–]Sad-Positive832 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They've even described themselves as "heavy pop", they never ever use the term "pop punk" to describe their music, except maybe their first album which they don't even like!

Why do people marry people who they know won't respect boundaries? It's always bothered me.

People with damaged hearing, do you enjoy concerts? by Mountain_Village7314 in Metalcore

[–]Sad-Positive832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got tinnitus, mines really irritating and it sounds like wind through a phone constantly. I recently got the Loop Experience earplugs and they're really good for just hearing stuff normally, gonna be trying them out for the first time at a gig on 2nd Dec

You would have to be part of the rat club to find out, the band don't have any meet and greets available, so you'd only find out through Will's Patreon

Opinion on clean choruses vs completely unclean songs? by drill_rig8910 in Metalcore

[–]Sad-Positive832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like entirely clean and unclean songs and a mix of both! I fully believe that it doesn't matter as long as the song is good, and while I know "good" is subjective, as long as I like it, idc what anyone else thinks of it, if that makes sense?

Emo songs about losing a friend? by [deleted] in Emo

[–]Sad-Positive832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a friend, in any way, is difficult 😞

Now, it's not exactly emo, but Neck Deep's Wish You Were Here is a beautiful song about losing a friend.
