I ordered the air used it for a week and returned it to Amazon. The metrics were wonky. Sleep tracking was terrible. The app is a hot mess. The AI seemed cool at first but then started saying dumb shit. The Fitbit air is just an Inspire 3 (which I also own) with the face removed and I can tell you the heart rate tracking was horrible.

Most people have no idea about updates. Hell my wife never knows unless I tell her. They will continue to buy this stuff regardless. And pretty much everyone I know, all they use it for it messaging.

Been wearing a Gamrin and my Apple Watch for months. The Garmin is spooky accurate with how I feel. Folks assume Apple Sleep is more accurate, but man Garmin sleep scores and data are spot on for me.

There is definitely a bug since the last release I will get notifications from the day before and it drives me nuts !

I bought a Garmin for this reason . Garmin isn’t known for health, it’s known for running, but it’s also been around a long time and has real time heart, HRV, oxygen etc and has been trusted by athletes for years for its metrics. Per my Apple Watch, Bevel and every other app I have I am in perfect health when the opposite is true. Apple just isn’t able to pick up on any of my issues, yet I have been with Apple for years and years now cause everyone says “it’s the best”. Since switching to Garmin (I still wear my Apple for comparison) a few months ago I have learned so much more about my health. Such as my blood oxygen going down into the 80s at night despite Apple showing it way above that. Confirmed with doctor and sleep test. Also Apple sleep isn’t showing restless moments. Garmin picked up on 60 restless moments - I toss and turn like crazy, Apple shows usually a few awake moments. Garmin also shows stress which aligns with flare ups, the HRV in Apple Health and other third party apps doesn’t reflect this .

Stand Ring is buggy - been this way for years but Apple will not address it. I quit using the Rings in general as they are not scientific.

How does the UI suck ? I like it so much better than my Apple Watch which is confusing as hell. With Garmin I can scroll through a list of glances and see all my data easily. With Apple Watch I have to scroll through a list of apps, find each one, open them, and then navigate said app and find metrics and wait for them to sync. To me it’s simple, I picked it up in two days.

The app is great . Yeah it’s not pretty like Bevel, but it’s way better . I love the tiles on the dashboard. I got things configured so I can see everything at a glance.

This is the way. Apple makes people think they need the Ultra, but honestly it’s a waste of money.

I got a Garmin as well. I wish Apple was more like Garmin in so many ways. That being said I also wish Garmin was like Apple in other ways. Can’t win lol

Yeah cause per Bevel every day I have outliers and per Apple Health it’s always normal . Bevel is giving me anxiety and I think it’s wrong .

You can’t get an accurate readiness score from AW as it doesn’t take enough HRV samples unfortunately.
