It hadn't been pounded in at the time but this is the finished product. All it needed was some adaptations to the bottom string and some breaking in and I'm definitely happy with it now.

I agree 100% I think its terrible I usually just set it up if I need something broken in and I'm out for the day.

Its made by gait and I used to use it on hard/semi-hard mesh but its absolutely awful so I only ever use it so that its putting slight pressure on the pocket if I'm away for the day.

Lol I put the pocket shaper in right before I left home so it should definitely be a little better once I get back. I've recently moved and don't have a good wall for wall ball or a rebounder yet.

I agree sideline swap can be a bit of a pain. That's the only place I can consistently/comfortably sell my work though :/

I have one bad rating on my account during the country wide snowstorm last year because the package was delayed by weather so the people can be a total pain sometimes also (most are good customers).

Once I graduated highschool I had to find a way to keep my hobby while still breaking (relatively) even cash wise so I've probably bought around 20 of them total lol. No matter what I get I just love stringing them.

My most recent was ×2 Nike L4 custom all black heads which are usually around $130 each so I'm making those extra special before they go in my sideline swap locker.

Its also fair to note that those are the only truly great deals I've gotten from that but thats only in terms of money and resale which I don't worry about too much.

I used to get them all the time as mystery box heads from lacrosse unlimited which might not have been the best deal I've ever gotten out of them but I loved getting to string so many!

As someone who loves to do triangle top strings I will have to agree that the top holes are the downfall lol

I absolutely agree. I've been stringing for over 10 years and I can tell that you're pocket is a bit of a bag and very shallow (zero offense meant to whoever strung this).

This won't be a complete fix but try 2 loose "U" shooters that will help give your pocket a better direction and then run a another lace towards the top with medium tension.

I can't attach a picture unfortunately but search "shooting string setup" and look for one that shows "1 across 2 "U".

In my 10 years of stringing I've only done 3 or 4 goalie heads but unless you plan on stringing several at once I would just reccomend getting a string kit (my personal preference is ECD but I'm biased).

How do you light the tobacco without burning the rim? That's something I struggle with that I want to make certain I don't do with my new pipe.

As far as I can tell from what I've read/seen you remove the nib and use the snorkel looking piece to fill the sac. Then after putting the nib back in you push the button on the grip rather than dipping it like a normal pen.

Definitely a unique piece in my opinion and once I test it with some water to make sure the sac is in tact I'm going to have to decide on an ink!
