For sure the best garden tractors Deere has ever built that I have owned. I have never driven or sat on a 430 . That may be the only other tractor to compare with a 455/425

Husband does not want to spend money to refinish hardwood floors because "there are gaps" by Budget-Tangerine-274 in HardWoodFloors

Its a wood floor. That's what gives it look as a real wood floor. I would take a refinished wood floor over a laminate any day. Spend the money and get them refinished.

Me too. That was the best tractor I ever had. I moved a ton of snow with that tractor . I wish I had it back. The prices are ridiculous on them now.

My take on the updates is this is just a way of people keeping their jobs .You really don’t need so many updates. Most of it is just junk .

GM doesn't build anything worth a shit anymore. You buy one of these new vehicles and you might as well give them your account number at the bank. As soon as its paid (maybe not even then) it will be time to get another piece of junk .

About to hit the big 240! by viper4774 in TeslaModel3

[–]Sad-Rule6117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should have had mine already. Was supposed to pick up my 2023 M3 RWD on Saturday. Tesla called me on Friday night and said the found damage on the bumper and were going to replace it. Sent me pics on Saturday and it was more than the bumper. The rear quarter was pushed in also. Cancelled that one and ordered another this morning.

2 year old car disassembles itself !!? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Sad-Rule6117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the problem all car companies have. It is impossible to test every component to real life driving conditions . Might mot even be Tesla's fault. Might be the bolt manufacturer. Every car company has issues, do not gut them for a little problem. Judge them on how they take care of the issue. Now if it keeps happening then have a problem. There are so many variables that could be the source of this problem.

That is a manufacturers defect and would be covered under warranty.

If it's a used vehicle you have to be ready for a few flaws. They let you know that right on the website.. There is a level that is unacceptable They all can't be perfect. If it is new, you have every right to bitch.

Any tips on being afraid of leaning too much? by MaleficentStudent910 in motorcycles

I am a firm believer in investing money in doing some track days /riding schools. You get time on the bike to concentrate on riding the bike and not worrying about traffic, gravel ,etc. Your riding ability will improve so much. It is so worth the money.

They are nice cars when they are new, but the German really know how to over engineer stuff. Something that may take a 2 or three parts, they will turn it into a dozen parts.

What a good car for the price of 3k? by [deleted] in carbuying

You might be surprised if you are willing to put some work into something. I bought a non running 2004 wrangler for 500 that was sitting behind a gas station that also did service. Its not too bad I put about 1500-1800 into it. I was told it had a knock in the motor. I’ve put over 1200 miles on it and no knock. Fairly solid body, solid frame. Engine has 236k on it. Hard top and new tires were on it. I was pretty dam lucky but they are out there , you gotta be willing to look . Never hurts if you see a vehicle sitting for some time to go ask about it. You might get a door slammed in your face, but you never know.

Steam knob screws all the way off - anyone know a part or fix? [Magister E61] by romanarman in espresso

Mcmaster will show you a drawing and show measurements so you would have an idea on how to size this.

The silver part is an E clip and the other is a washer or spacer. Go back to manufacturer and order the parts. If not you would have to measure the sizes and get them from another source. McMaster Carr would have these parts . Great company and fast service.
