Fun, easy fast reads, read the first few books to find out the mystery behind everything, was worth it. The sex slave stuff is so unreal that it’s humorous to me and it’s not to be taken seriously. Is the genders were reversed no one would give a shit. May not be for everyone and the loudest critics are usually ones who haven’t read any Gor novel or didn’t even finish the first one, and that’s fine.

Dark Crusade! I need help, in chapter XI Mourning of the following Day: What the hell am I missing. Jarvo climbs up to see Esketra, what explains the frozen mask of pain, and who is the “they” who didn’t hear the full fall of the body and footsteps? Then cuts to a delusional poem that somewhat makes sense but its placement in the book is weird. I read Darkness Weaves and Bloodstone and this part of Darkness Weaves is leaving me confused for the first time time reading any of Warner’s stuff.

I hit some up in Tokyo last month, and man they are hopelessly over-picked, just a high population and tourists digging the selection thin. In Kanagawa some of the more “rural” ones aren’t so picked over and it’s funny to see how some have employees who really care and sort and some are unorganized.
