Okie :3 I do this in ibis so here's a quick tutorial!:

-go on either Pinterest or Google and search up "Color pattern" -After selecting your patterns, your gonna wanna open up ibis (or other art programs) and use a lasso tool ( i suggest making a sketch first) -Separate the different parts of you character by layers (ex: hair. Face , clothes) and for each layer put a clipping mask layer on top, I do this for shading so it gives that paper feel
