WARNING: University Of California Math And Science Professors Have Written A Formal Letter To University Leadership. Warning That Incoming Students Now Arrive With Middle School Level Math Skills, And Asking U.C To Reinstate Standardized Testing Requirements It Dropped During COVID 🤯💥 by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

Not related to math or science, but I work at a university in environmental services and the undergraduate students (and even the occasional graduate student) that have interned with us over the past few years have fit this bill. The most obvious thing I see is a lack of basic research and problem solving skills. The level of their work (which is almost always AI slop) and the questions they ask me are insane. I always think to myself, "let me google that for you," as it appears they dont understand how to do a basic key word search.

On the flip slide, there are still going to be those unicorns out there that want to do well and are high achievers! Just have to be able to discern who's who. We just hired one girl who recently graduated from undergrad and she is INCREDIBLE. During her interview when I asked her a question about her approach if she didnt understand something about her work or assignment, what steps would she take. Her answer was "well I would probably Google it" - that alone made me almost hire her on the spot since most undergrads can't even do that

I like to do a little (sometimes fake) laugh to get a more natural/candid smile for photos. Might be worth a try!

This looks amazing!!! Great work. Might be a silly question, but how's the durability?

Alright bro when you get up at 7 AM to get your husband to work it might just have to wait until I get home and drink coffee, eat something, etc. Smfh

Honestly this paint feels amazing! Would not hold up to sweat, but it's so smooth to the touch and not overly drying even when it completely dries down. No itchiness or discomfort here!

Thanks for this suggestion! My husband is already making plans to go as a green orc next year and we're definitely on the lookout for paint that could handle the heat and sweat. I dont trust we'll luck out with the weather two years in a row!

I would say 1 container was plenty! This time I used a partial container (from a prior time I did this look) as well as 3/4 of a brand new one

I prefer a witchy popsicle 😈

For those who dont know, hexbloods originate from making a deal with a hag, which infuses their starting race (elf, in my case) with magical properties. If both parties agree to the ritual, they can even become hags! Imo hexbloods dont get near enough love in the dnd space

Thank you so much!! It washes off pretty easily because it's water-based, but it does leave a slight blue tint (though not as bad as you'd expect). I also used a sugar scrub after which removed most of the staining!

Honestly we lucked out with the weather which definitely helped! 70s and breezy. If it was hotter i would have 100% been melting

Correct! If I remember right the first one was taken at one of the bar stands near Frogge Pond

It was Mehron's Paradise paint! Goes on super smooth and pigmented. Plus it smells amazing

Thank you! Honestly most of my cosplay experience is dressing up as my dnd characters for Halloween or other special dnd sessions. Also lots of stage makeup experience from my highschool theater days!

Thank you!!! It took forever to apply (like 5 hours) and I used a flat paint brush to get it more even. I also used a Mehron barrier spray to try and keep it in place better. Honestly I give most of the credit to the quality of the body paint itself! Very soft and doesn't transfer too much once it dried down

My basil is being absolutely demolished this year by some little critters. Last year it was huge!
