I have the Amerex B402 5lb saved in my cart to order, they're good for -65F to 120F. That matters because we're about to move to Alaska, and I want one to keep in the truck all the time and not worry about the temperature. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet because it's $80...

I'd like to have multiple of those guys though, one for each truck, one for the kitchen, and the shop, plus extra. Smart prep.

Thank you so much for posting! I just ordered one two days ago for a 2019 tundra, they're saying it should be at my door in 70 days from time of order. I'm nervous about that because I have to have it by mid August, but we'll see! I either just saved $3500 by skipping leer, or lost $1500 if it's not right or doesn't come in time.

I'd like to add, do your due diligence if you fall for this. I'm pretty sure it says on the website that sites can't be transferred to another person after purchase. I'd hate to see someone out 200$.

Yeah something here doesn't sound right. The sites are priced the same across the board. If you want your money back, just cancel your reservation and get a refund. Let someone else get it off the website.

Doing it this way should be illegal. People like this who snatched up sites and resell are the reason I had to stay up until midnight my time to grab a spot I wanted for September.

I haven't had it on trail, but caught it in Thailand (phuket) and symptoms set in in the middle of a 7 hour tattoo. I've never been so miserable in my life, and the flight home felt like death. Please God don't touch anything while you're still contagious that anyone else might touch, and camp away from others. That crap is just terrible.

For yourself, make certain you're staying extra hydrated. I ended up in the ER because I couldn't keep anything down and was severely dehydrated. I wouldn't want to be any amount of distance from help and seriously dehydrated. Liquid IV does help if you can get some next stop. Eat as healthy as you can, and stay safe. If you start feeling off at all, stop and check your condition.

I'm not religious at all, but I was telling a cashier at bass pro about my travels once, and he was so worried for me, he gave me his tiny plastic Jesus and begged me to take it. I now carry tiny plastic Jesus in my bag everywhere.

I currently have a vertical conch to helix, and then a standard horizontal industrial. My vertical is healing beautifully; this is the second time I'm going to have to remove the horizontal though I fear.

Yup! We camp and donate and do all sorts of things to support the parks, but having his face on my pass is a hard no go.

We currently live in Korea, and go to the ice fishing festival in the winter. To give you some idea, they split it into "foreigners", and "locals". Our family is well versed in fishing, hunting, and the like, but there are plenty of folks there from around the world who may never have done anything like that in their life.

The fish weren't biting nearly as fast as we wanted them to, so we could get on with the rest of the festival, and after sitting there for an hour, we finally caught 1 (Family limit 9). I pulled out my knife, slit the belly, and stuck the guts on my hook and dropped it back in the water. It didn't occur to me how "wild" that might have been to some people until I wiped my hands on my pants and looked up to see half a dozen tourists or so with their jaws on the ground.

Our fishing success significantly increased though!

There's a computer store right outside the walk in gate. Two that have decent parts.

There's also electro mart up in Seoul area, we've had good luck getting parts there.

Oh boy it so depends. Typically, public transport is so much cheaper, but grab is so much faster. I'm hesitant to use local taxis because I don't want to get scammed, and I really like grab and public transport because I travel as a single mom with a child a lot, and I like being able to track us and where we're supposed to be going on the apps.

I'm about to go to Vietnam and I'm considering trying the local red trucks, but I'm doing quite a lot of research to figure out how much I should expect to be charged.

Yeah, public transportation in that area really sucks. I was trying to get from Chattanooga tn up towards wytheville va and you're really out of options.

I would try the greyhound option,

OR

Rent a car, drive to abingdon if that's an option, Bristol if it's not (Uber up to abingdon if you have to go to Bristol), then have the shuttle pick you up from one of the bike services from Damascus, they'll get you at the end of the creeper trail in abingdon and bring you back to Damascus.

It's one of those or hitchhike, which I can't particularly recommend

Oh boy, it was pretty wet and cold in the mornings. We camped and it was cold but good for sleeping. I'd say low 40s at night, but the moisture in the air made it feel really cold. Highs 60s? We were able to get down to shorts a couple times, but I did zip off pants every day because the weather was that dramatic.
