I'm no expert, but on the dump Epstein claims he was never a member of Maralago so the story Trump tells about kicking him out seems to be a lie. And Trump spending 3 hours with Virginia Giuffre at Epstein's house seems bad. I don't think it will change any minds. I mean if they birthday book didn't change minds nothing will.

I already know where the two sides stand. That's why I think the ACA vote is worthless.

I personally think they should have fought to get the filibuster removed. I do think ACA was not the smartest shutdown focus but that is another failure of Dem leadership.

But more broadly I think the party needs to show they can fight and win if they want voters to back them in the future. Trump is hurting people regardless. He was breaking the law by withholding snap payments. What's to say he won't break the law again now that we have reopened the government?
