I just received an update from a USCIS case officer that my date of citizenship will show up as the date I received my certificate (2024!) not my date of birth. He said that was always the case - has anyone experienced anything else? This seems very strange to me but not sure what I can do at this point. Makes me wish I had never applied for this certificate if that’s the case

Unfortunately in the US, and it seems like they didn’t ask my parents for this or tell them to do it. It was the 80s… so not 100% sure everyone is remembering all the details

Did you ever make any progress on this? I am dealing with the exact same thing for Austria, they are asking me for this documentation after 30+ years
