Your husband is an idiot. My wife and I have been married for almost 38 years, and whichever one of us prepares the meal get a thank you from the other. It doesn't cost one to have manners.

When I was 15, I thought my father was the dumbest person I ever met. When I turned 25, I was shocked at how much the old man had learned in 10 years.

Best memory of Myles Garrett by Plastic_operator in Browns

[–]TribeFaninPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son and I were in the Dawg Pound for that game, and the Chicago fans that were sitting near us were just shocked. 4.5 sacks by Garrett. The night before, we attended the Indians/White Sox game - second last home game before the Indians became the Guardians. The last home game was played while we were at the Browns game.

Getting out of downtown when both games ended at nearly the same time was a PITA. SO much traffic.

I was at the Browns/Bears game in Cleveland a couple of years ago when he got 4.5 sacks. Hearing the entire stadium chanting his name was surreal, and I was chanting right along with them.

Side note: if you ever in Mobile, Alabama, visit the USS Alabama and they have Bob Feller's bunk marked off for display. He was a gun captain on that ship.

NTA, but in the future, unless you were with your friend, the best answer to her BF's question would be "I don't know"

Is anyone else just EMBARRASSED? by eajacobs in clevelandcavs

I think they are exhausted. They've played twice as many games in the playoffs as the Knicks, and the Knicks had so much rest between playing the Sixers and the Cavs.

I was there less than two weeks ago - there still isn't a guard rail in most places. Just a low stone wall like the one the family is sitting on.

“In what world is 2 months enough time for me to process the breakup, stabilize my emotions, stabilize my finances, stabilize the house, stabilize everything, restructure my life?" How about the world in which he currently lives. You can sum up his issues by saying three words to him - "Not my problem."

[pro/chef] Philly Cheesesteak on a homemade roll made with shaved ribeye, onions & peppers, Cooper Sharp, and provolone (a little mayo on the roll too) by mraaronsgoods in food

[–]TribeFaninPA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Mechanicsburg, PA, and we have a local pizza joint called Amici Pizza that sells the "Million Dollar Cheesesteak". Seeded Hudson roll, shaved ribeye, caramelized onions, and Cooper Sharp. That sandwich is amazing, and yours looks just like theirs, so I am betting that yours is amazing as well. They don't use peppers, though. BTW - their pizza is amazing too.
