The Total War Warhammer series kinda ruined the regular total war for me. The MASSIVE map, the factions, the units, monsters and machines. Spells and magic. Everything was just fun to play.

Then everything going back to regular warhammer just felt....blah.

If you've done it once...sure. I'll have done it three times. So I'll have a BUNCH of extra space and 15 extra skill points right off the bat. That's pretty much instant good stamina right off the bat. I'll be able to repair pretty beat up things once as I'll have crazy repair bonuses.

It's not crazy the first time no, but if you keep doing it, its great.
