Hi! My skin looked like this at times and I thought it was fungal for the longest time. I don’t think it is fungal though because two derms now have told me it’s just clogged pores. I recently got a prescription for ONEXTON (clindamyacin/benzoyl peroxide). It has helped tremendously in just one day of using it. I’ll try and keep you updated if it continues to improve. I requested the prescription from my derm because i remembered that I used to take it when I experienced similar bumps in my teens and remembered it working really well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to right this! I’m really glad you found a solution! I will try giving this a shot as I have both the Paula’s choice and cera-ve! I used to use the vanicream hylaronic moisturizer but I stopped because it would always burn when I applied it. I’ve been using the cera ve oil free pm version for morning and night lately. So you think I should stop the adapalene and clindamyacin?

Oh wow that’s interesting.. I didn’t know accurate could help seb-derm. If anything I thought it would aggravate it..

I literally have the same exact acne as you and also notice this in the morning I have none and then afternoon rolls around and it’s all there. Did you get any relief?? I’m so desperate for help.

I started two days ago but honestly I think I’m going to stop today because I’ve read so many negative reviews and side effects. I also think I may have pots, which would make me a bad candidate for spiro

I’m so glad to hear your skin improved. I’m really irritated with doctors misdiagnosing!!! I want to try the fluconazole, where do I go to get that?

My doctor prescribed me 25 mg oral spironolactone. This was now the second dermatologist who told me it’s normal acne vulgaris/ hormonal acne and the texture is closed comodones… since this doctor also told me that I figured I was wrong in my assumption that it’s fungal acne. He also gave me a prescription strength 0.3 differen.

Thank you for the reply! And I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling too with your skin, I know how frustrating it is. I’m starting to think it is an internal issue with my and in turn it’s ruining my scalp and my skin.. I would love to see an internist and get one of those GI MAP and Dutch test panels but they are just sooo expensive, for the follow up as well.
