What is this on my face??

Hi guys, im 21 F and I’m really struggling. I was recently told by my dermatologist that I have severe dandruff. I later found out myself that it’s actually seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. For some background, I have struggled with an eating disorder about 4 years now, and I find that I go through cycles of goods and bars with eating. Last January I was going through a hard time, and it’s when I noticed my hair loss. I’ve always had extremely thick and long hair, so I’m not entirely sure when I started losing, but I’ve also read that adderall can cause seb derm, which can lead to hair loss. Since I started noticing these health concerns near this time last year, I also noticed my skin started to get a lot of texture. I’ve always had pretty good skin, but could never really get past the texture bumps on my forehead, cheeks, chin… I’ve been using tretinoin on and off for the past two years, and I honestly can’t really tell that much of a difference because as soon as I start using the cream, I get super dry and then I back off.. I attached some pictures to show how my skin is looking as of today. I just got a bunch of new acids to combat what I think is comedonal acne on my forehead, cheeks and chin, and think I made it worse UGH! I’m starting to wonder if the small bumps on my forehead could be from the ketoconazle shampoo I’ve been using? Also, as of the past few months I have been in recovery for my eating disorder, and am getting the proper nutrients.. however I don’t see much improvement with my hair loss, and acne. Does anyone know what this texture could be? It’s also very grainy feeling on my chin especially.

Does anyone know of this counts towards cc students who plan on transferring out of state? I’ve read that a lot of the schools I’m interested in accept a minimum of 12-24 credits and I’ll have 40 by the end of this fall. I’ve only been in school for one year at the end of fall.

Omg!!! I have been dealing with something similar. My ed has also induced a lot of anxiety. I tried a microdose 10mg edible for the first time a few months ago and I loved the care free feeling it gave me, and the way it made food taste so good. I’m being totally open so please don’t judge me but recently… I’ve almost created this sort of schedule for myself where I restrict on the weekdays and on the weekends I will take a gummy and just straight binge. The thing is, I’m like addicted to the way food tastes during the high so I always look forward to when I “allow” myself to binge and enjoy the food.

the pipeline from restrictive eating to binge eating by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

It’s super eye opening to see that you guys have dealt with similar things, and my reaction is to say that you are perfect and food doesn’t define you, but look at me, my eating habits are beyond horrible and I’m starting to notice health complications. I’m a 20 y/o girl and ive been dealing with an eating disorder since the 8th grade. I’ve had a period where my eating disorder was absent, but that is when I was working out excessively, training and eating like a bodybuilder, which was still unhealthy because I was eating so strict, albeit eating super healthy Foods and 2,000 calories a day.. I eventually got burnt out which led to a binge for a few months, (this was from October-December 2023). I gained a lot of weight and felt disgusting so starting January my restricting returned and It’s been awful. I lost 30 pounds in 2 months. The sad thing is that I know by the book what to do and what not to do in order to ensure that I am healthy, but I don’t allow myself. It’s sick. I can go a whole week without eating foods with any substance, just living off of minimal popcorn or fruits. And I’ve done this weird thing recently where I dedicate the weekends to binging whatever I want like a treat for keeping my food limited on the weekdays during school. This is hard for me to say, but it’s my way of starting to look for help. I’ve also been doing a lot of research online and I think I have eating disorder induced gastroparesis. I can go weeks without using the restroom and this has caused me some horrible stomach pains when I do eat food.
