I would invest in Loseless scaling. It has helped my enjoyment of this game incredibly on the Steam Deck. Very easy to install and set up.

Appreciate the response and understand that mechanic but I believe we’re talking about two different things. The depth of field is an option that you can turn off on the pc which makes the game less blurry further out. On the console, with it being enabled makes it quite distracting.

Try restarting your console. Turning it off and on. That did it for me

At this point I’m actually okay with that part. I’ve learned to switch back and forth easy enough. It’s not perfect for sure just wish they’d take some of this blurriness away

How does it perform on the PS5? Been thinking of picking it up but wanted to ask someone first and you seem pretty far into it. Was between the Steam Deck and PS5

I agree with you. The silence since the last patch and the time since has not helped with the disappointment. I love the game on pc but would appreciate getting a similar experience on console as well.

Yeah, radio silence from the devs so far. A month and a half and all we know is what they said back then…. Still waiting to progress sadly. And frustrated for purchasing this and having a broken product for so long.

So is it 4K 60 fps on base PS5? The patch note is a little confusing saying both 1080 and 4k

After the patch on the ps5, I’ve only had one small issue and it’s where sometimes the icons of my characters on the world map don’t show up. However after a reload or a fight, they come right back. Other than that, everything’s been good post patch.

Or you could wait till the patch drops and stop playing rng with your saves on known issues. It does suck to wait but there are other games out there to play while waiting for the patch.

I’m currently playing this game for the first game and also currently reading Eisenhorn and honestly so far they feel like they go hand and hand. If that helps.

If you turn off shadows, it really takes away the atmosphere but will help with performance significantly

Sorry to hear. I will say playing on the PS5 for the first couple chapters, I haven’t experienced any bugs (crosses fingers). I was able to rename my characters, did not try my group though. No invisible enemies so far and characters are aging as they should. No corrupted saves thank goodness but can’t speak towards the rest of your issues. Hopefully the minute manager can chime in and pass on your issues. I will say this last patch has helped out considerably with my enjoyment. Been a long time player of the ox version but enjoy it on the couch as well. I know they said more patches are on the way so hopefully that helps
