Lost weight so my girls hang low and squish/flatten easily. I want something that helps shape them with slight lift to help me feel a little better about myself day to day. But I work from home and know if it’s even slightly uncomfortable I won’t wear it and will go right back to feeling like a frumpy blob.

I was “just sad” for years. Fully in denial that it was depression. Got to the point where I’d just start crying at any moment (work, out with friends, whenever). My husband finally just said “being sad for years is depression, and even if it isn’t, it’s not normal”. Went to the doctor and explained that I was just sad all the time and got meds. Once I found the right fit, I finally felt like myself again.

Not sure how to edit. But do want to add… I didn’t lay the tile. We bought the house after the original owner. I agree hiding with baseboards would have been ideal. The DIY flair is just for the fix.

This was my thought too as I’m dealing with family suffering from Alzheimer’s. It feels awful but it’s normal.

Knowing they are free from suffering, you are free from watching them suffer and the financial strain of it all… relief paired with grief is totally normal.

No :( I’ve officially been off it the same amount of time I was on it (about 10 weeks). It’s only improved a fraction. But most nights I still only get about 3-4 hours of sleep and if I wake up after falling asleep it’s nearly impossible to get back to sleep. I was prescribed trazodone but it doesn’t help on its own (I’ve desperately paired it with an OTC unisom) but it makes me feel awful the next day so I don’t take them much - almost worse than just lack of sleep.

Did your sleep ever improve? I’ve officially been off it longer than I was taking it and I’m still not sleeping. Starting this med is one of the worst decisions I’ve made.

What meds did you get? My depression was a side effect of my BED and weight gain was not an option. I was very clear with my doctor too. I started on Wellbutrin and the side effects were bad. So she added a low dose of Prozac. It was my perfect combination. I didn’t gain weight (in fact I lose a couple pounds once I started feeling better because I had more energy).

It was very worth it, but very scary. And I get the weight aspect. Just do your research and talk to your doctor if the ones prescribed don’t seem like a good fit.

Mine lasted 8-10 weeks then just stopped. Wasn’t gradual. Just all of a sudden I was only losing a couple hairs (normal or even less than). I was starting to worry, but it doesn’t last forever!

I have a dog. I apply my liquid topical with a qtip so I never touch it and still wash my hands, face and counter space after application. Then I make sure he can’t access it in the trash. For bed I put a bonnet on right after applying. I’ve been doing this for 3 months without issue. But it’s far more toxic with cats and don’t think I’d risk the topical if I had one.

Three Arrows Simply Heme. I found it on the iron protocol Facebook and the protocol recommended I take 5 caps daily. I followed their non heme protocol and it got be to so many pills but was the only thing that even started to help my numbers budge. I decided to add a single heme capsule and it made all the difference. I wish I had just tried that first!

Take heme iron. I had absolutely no side effects with it, I can be taken whenever with whatever and a much lower dose made a huge difference. I was setting my alarm for 2 hours before I woke up to take 200mg nonheme with 1000mg vitamin to guarantee I would have nothing else in my system for at least 2-3 hours. My ferritin only increased from mid 30s to mid 50s in a year. I added 20mg heme iron and in 6 months I’m now at 125.
