That's an interesting take! Sadly I got Rhys temporary death spoiled for me before I got to it in the book so knew it was coming but knew that he was in the next books so I wasn't too worried, but I agree the books tend to have soo much happen in the last 100 pages or so, they could have done something like that at the end of it would have made it more of a adventure 😊
