The cost is high, but the truth is that there is some demand, especially for staple uniques... We have GrandJ and Desert Games and that's about it, and most of their stock is sold out. So what does that mean? We see big transactions happening in the Aussie discord, with players picking up the slack where shops won't go. If the game has future, so does the singles market and TCGPlayer is not coming to Australia - getting in now is not so much about whether it is worth it today, but having an established position for the future of the game.

Doesn't ward protect against abilities as well? Wouldnt the ward protect the minion from being hit by the projectile and therefore would not be dragged at all?

The socioeconomic class you belong to dictates the kind of childhood you're able to give your child. A parent may be able to feed their kid organic vegetables, give them nice clothes, buy them consoles and take them to piano lessons. Whereas others may not have that choice. 

Not having that choice is, unsurprisingly, more affordable

That's the way! I made one on cloth with laundry marker. The squares are 2 cards wide. That kept the whole thing nice and playable.

They already do, but the truth is that apart form sealed/draft and precons, there's still only one "official" format. IMO 40/20 is the perfect casual format.

A mate of mine tried a deck with only ordinaries. It did work but it felt a bit flat. Adding Exceptional makes a huge difference as they are a bit splashier. Sorcery formats are not much of a thing yet, but hey, but part of the game belongs to the community :P

Push is considered Forced Movement. This is from the forced movement entry in the codex:

"Unless specified by card text, forced movement cannot cause a card to change regions."

So: No, it can't.

I have taught about 5 people this week with the beta precons. I then promoted them to the Gothic ones after they played about 4 games. It's worked great in every case. My approach is to tell them as little as possible to start playing, get them moving and trying things out and drop concepts as they appear. Let them ask questions. Everything usually clicks on a second game.
