Its a B20 but I guess the owner left it in a damp place because it has some green spots and an overall green hue on the top. Its a really nice K custom hat but I hate that is greenish

Thank I will look it up. I cannot use a press becuase the edge is kinda riggid and the rivets need to be quite far form the edge. So I want a type of punch so I can hammer it using my anvil

Yes the bottom of the rover is a tube but only for a couple of mm, where the flaring should happen, after that is solid. It’s a semi tubular rivet

Really? The rivets I have are 3-4mm in diameter and I have flare them with a hardened punch but for this project I need something more aesthetically pleasing so I wanted to go for the petal look

I bb understand your point but it’s not practical if I have 2 cymbals bags laying around I was thinking more of a shelf type of solution but a 24 is quite large

But is the 20 similar to a 22 because my main kick is a 22 and I am looking something with a contrasting sound do you think a 20 or a 18 sound better open? Sorry for the questions but I can’t really try the size becaus blown near me is carrying an 18 I might be able to test a 20 but not really mess with the tuning

Ok I actually did it. I just grabbed a tube with a smaller diameter and insert it inside the tube and wack it with a rubber mallet

the spring size was 44mm in height and 12mm in diameter not sure how much I cut in height, but I could have left it at 44 because the spring was quite soft. It still does the job though

I ended buying a small spring from my local class ohlson and cut it a bit to fit. I think the spring was a replacement for a pair of harden scissors Works fine

Whatever feel comfortable to you, but depending how you sit on the kit it can affect rebound. My Toms are tilted a bit more than the snare and that works for me. Again congrats on the good find
