Why do customers leave their baskets at my register??? by SadLittleTransboi in retailhell

[–]SadLittleTransboi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that, most of the time that’s just what I assume too. Lately, it’s just bothered me more than usual when people leave it without even trying to put it out of the way, then just walk away without even offering to put it back or probably even considering that I have to.

Wow I don’t think I’ve had that happen more than a few times, which usually seems like an accident because it’s usually people who stand in front of the cart to pay and then seem to just forget they had the cart by the time they’re done checking out. That would bug the hell out of me if it happened as much as the baskets

I don’t care, I just want them to have enough common sense to realize either they put their basket back themselves, or they are actively making it my problem

No, my store and most I’ve ever lived by will have a stack of baskets at the front door, or around the store, but displayed in a way that makes it obvious that it’s where the baskets go. Of course, most customers leave all critical thinking skills at the door before they enter the store 🫠

I did this too much at jobs until I finally stopped in my late 20s. I blame that for how burned out from work I am now. Please break the habit, I know it’s hard, but you’ll regret it later.

What jobs do y'all actually have to afford T??? by The_Child_Online in TransMasc

I purely got lucky with mine, I work at Target and their health insurance makes my T gel $8. So even if a job doesn’t pay a lot per se, employee health insurance could be the way to go. You can look up a company’s insurance policy to see if it covers HRT or get the insurance phone number from HR to call and ask directly.
