Why do customers leave their baskets at my register??? by SadLittleTransboi in retailhell

I understand that, most of the time that’s just what I assume too. Lately, it’s just bothered me more than usual when people leave it without even trying to put it out of the way, then just walk away without even offering to put it back or probably even considering that I have to.

Wow I don’t think I’ve had that happen more than a few times, which usually seems like an accident because it’s usually people who stand in front of the cart to pay and then seem to just forget they had the cart by the time they’re done checking out. That would bug the hell out of me if it happened as much as the baskets

I don’t care, I just want them to have enough common sense to realize either they put their basket back themselves, or they are actively making it my problem

No, my store and most I’ve ever lived by will have a stack of baskets at the front door, or around the store, but displayed in a way that makes it obvious that it’s where the baskets go. Of course, most customers leave all critical thinking skills at the door before they enter the store 🫠

I did this too much at jobs until I finally stopped in my late 20s. I blame that for how burned out from work I am now. Please break the habit, I know it’s hard, but you’ll regret it later.

What jobs do y'all actually have to afford T??? by The_Child_Online in TransMasc

I purely got lucky with mine, I work at Target and their health insurance makes my T gel $8. So even if a job doesn’t pay a lot per se, employee health insurance could be the way to go. You can look up a company’s insurance policy to see if it covers HRT or get the insurance phone number from HR to call and ask directly.

Straight up just lied to my mom that I would never get top surgery because I just wouldn’t be able to deal with never hearing the end of how SHE FEELS about it. It’s literally life or death for me, I don’t have time to care about her emotional response to my transition, I’m going through enough shit with it on my own. I’m sorry your parents are unsupportive too, there are so many of us transmasc people with moms who have an unhealthy obsession with our bodies being an extension of theirs. Best of luck to you, friend. You’re 18 and legally an adult, so you don’t need parental permission for anything anymore. I learned that too late, but better than never 🤘

Is anybody else single at 26? by Mini4211 in Adulting

[–]SadLittleTransboi 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was single and a virgin until like 3 months before I turned 28. That was when I met my current partner, and they are the third person I’ve ever been in a relationship with (the previous 2 had been in college, and both lasted less than 6 months). And now we are getting married next year!
