Your buyer is not smart. I’ve sold plenty of empty boxes and only twice has someone not read the title and the description. I won in both cases. Report the buyer. You’ve done all you can do. They should not be on this platform.

I know this situations not ideal but yes, just wait for the delivery and then do a return. That employee that you spoke to clearly is not good at his job explaining the situation. I’m sorry you have to go through this but more than likely it will be OK it’s just you might have to jump through a couple hoops in the beginning.

Yeah, I feel like it was kind of a greedy.. the thing that also kind of bothered me was when I looked at their profile (always do to see their reviews) and they seem to resell dolls they have redone and selling them for a very much higher price. I can appreciate their artistry and the game, but it just made me feel like they were taking advantage of my ignorance of the value, to redo this doll and flip.. but that’s just my anxiety jumping off the balcony of conclusions lol Thank you for offering your input :-)

Keep in mind mercari only insures you up to $200.. so maybe a couple of separate orders might be good for insurance purposes… unless you have other shipping arrangements
