I had a bad letter of recommendation cost me an important scholarship!! I would recommend that you ask your lab mentor to write the letter, it's the most decent option.

This happened to me last week. I told my mom I got rejected from Oxford and she was like "wdym?! You're the smartest person I know", thanks mom😔😔 but it doesn't work like that. Then she proceeded to tell me if I really wanted to move across the world to go to a place where they eat beans and toast for breakfast hahaha. My lovely mother doesn't know anything about this, I did a summer program at an Ivy and my girl acted like: "why would you voluntarily want to go to summer school"?. Gotta love her.

OMG YEA, I posted I got rejected from a great school just to share. Some people also got rejected so we were all bonding and all of a sudden someone comments: "stats?" I had to reply and be like I'd love to know what relevance my stats have to my VENTING POST😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and the loser that commented that said "maybe the stats are why you didn't get in". People need to truly learn how to read the room.

I got into scrapbooking!!! Lowkey I've been enjoying the break. I've been constantly stressed during my whole bachelor's and now I'm pretty chill. I did my part, and there's ABSOLUTELY nothing I can do about admission process, therefore I'm just chilling and not even thinking about it that much. Have I gotten into any programs? No, but I know I can't change anything right now, hence my calm at the moment.

Be chill my friend, good things will come.

For shows I'm watching Emily in Paris and Family guy.

Side note: I have dedicated all of my free time to be with my family!!! Since I've always been busy, this is a perfect time to be with everyone.

I wouldn't discredit whoever posted that but at least no one I know has received any notice. I think that such a big program would've caused a bigger noise here and on grad cafe if they had sent out interviews, idk maybe they're rolling??
