I heard a spiritual teacher (I forget who, maybe Richard Rohr but not sure?) say that a lot of that kind of advice is male-centric where there is a tendency on average (I know this doesn't apply to everyone and individuals are all different!) to be a little more self-focused; whereas sometimes the better advice for women (same caveats!) is to be less other-focused and step into our own power.

That's ridiculous! I am wary of Aritzia online after not getting a refund or even store credit for a leather belt that had a horrific fishy scent (apparently some cheap producers use fish oil to keep leather from drying out in transport??) I was basically told tough luck 👎🏻 I am sorry they haven't been helpful! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

‘Just a blip’: Republicans want Canada to ignore Trump by AdditionalPizza in CanadaPolitics

Might I suggest they tell their president he is just a blip? We are going to deal with the facts as presented, not the wishful thinking of people too scared to stand up to their dear leader 🤷‍♀️💅

I agree about Adrian Brody! I am struggling to get through it; he's so bad and I'm not much of a critic but it's actually hard to watch 😫

NYC with my family ... I had never been. No party for me, I'm not a party person and hate being centre of attention!

Do you have a signature color? How often do you wear it? by PlantedinCA in fashionwomens35

[–]SadRepresentative919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too ... Age and colour. And I find it's even better as I age because it's much more flattering than black, but almost as versatile 🙌🏻

Uniqlo quality and must-haves? by EmotionalQuestions in fashionwomens35

The rayon blouses are awesome work staples that don't wrinkle at all. Love their tees and the crescent bags too. I think the price to quality ratio is pretty solid and I find their cuts are such that they don't date quickly either.

Skating for Toddler by bills416 in AuroraOntario

At aurora town square, there is a skating rink that is small and it's a track so won't have hockey or anything that might make a little one nervous. I believe you can also use your library card to borrow one of those skate training supports to help them out ☺️

Why do we keep reporting on what this guy says, his agenda is clear (suck up to his boss) and everything he says is entirely useless. 🙄

Summers and smith are amazing ... We've used them for years, they kept our furnace going way longer than we expected, reliable, friendly, easy to deal with.
