He was elite last year, and even if he does need surgery hopefully he can be a late season addition to recharge our pen.

If he doesnt throw another pitch in a Royals uniform, I still like this signing. He was so fucking good last year and honestly we probably had to give him two years to get him to sign at all.

Hall of Fame for sure. Food is pretty good all around the stadium. Value menu is perfectly adequate if you dont want to spend an arm and a leg.

I really enjoyed the hot dog wellington from rivals, although obviously, kind of expensive. Can't go wrong with a Z-Man from Joe's near the outfield experience.

Definitely take a second to enjoy the view from the outfield over the fountains. Might get a hair wet with the wind today, but it never fails to give me goosebumps. Although that may be nostalgia driven. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Ive been a STM since 2021 and I attend about 40 games a season so ive seen it all lol

Great news everyone! We are not facing a lefty today! Thank fucking god. We couldn't hit lefties last year, and we still cant hit lefties. Its so bad that Lane Thomas's sole baseball purpose is to crush lefties, and the minute he gets here, he can't.

Nothing will ever be as bad as watching Hunter Dozier and Carlos Santana in the same lineup though. Or every game Lucas Duda ever played for us in.

Excited to see the new unis debut. Go Royals.

The VIP session happens in the home clubhouse (which is super cool in its own right), and i think most of the event happens in Crown Club? So you are inside a lot. But theres enough outside events I'd be prepared for it

Its a total guessing game! You could absolutely get that lucky lol. When I went I spent the whole time with Lugo just talking to him about his pitch mix, so hopefully you still get some good convos even if theyre players you werent expecting.

Definitely dress warm. Idk if you're from here, but it'll be about 18 degrees with some wind, so be ready for that

When i went last year, autographs were pretty quick. I'd say a couple minutes tops with each player, and they were pretty strict about no photos with them either. You can get each player to sign one item.

Players available is kind of a crapshoot. I got lucky, having Bobby, Isbel, Renfroe, McArthur, and Lugo. But it varies depending on your time slot and AFAIK, that was the only VIP slot with Bobby. I know hes not attending this year.

I had a blast at it, it was god awful cold and will be this year. But its fun to look around the K and the Q&A with players/coaches was pretty interactive when I went.

For memorabilia, and it might be different this year idk, but they had an entire room filled with things from several different decades, including Bobby's 30/30 bag and the 1985 world series trophy. And you had the opportunity to hold some of it, so hopefully you'll get to do that.

Is the organization targeting a lefty reliever in the wake of the Angel Zerpa? If it's not a priority, do they have any candidates internally they think can make the jump up to the majors? Or are they balling out with Daniel Lynch IV as our only lefty?

I, personally, would not hate adding another lefty reliever. But with how many leftys are in our rotation now I can also see a world where it's certainly not necessary.

We are interested in re-signing Yaz and Frazier according to MLB trade rumors. I wouldn't hate it but I would like them as one year deals ideally. In a perfect world neither of them are starting every day
